Papa John's - Haines City

The staff is very unfriendly. Prices have increased. There is hardly any pepperoni on the pizza. I would not recommend this place and definitely will not be returning.

I would give this restaurant a one-star rating if possible, or even no stars at all. I ordered two medium pizzas, one with sausage and the other with just cheese. Both pizzas were undercooked and the sausage pizza had very little sausage on it. When I called to express my dissatisfaction, the manager told me that they have a specific formula for the amount of toppings to be used (although in my case it seemed like hardly any were used). She couldn't offer an explanation for why the pizzas were undercooked. The staff in general looked unkempt and dirty, as if they had just finished working on a car. I am completely puzzled by the current state of this restaurant. The staff used to be great, and the food was always delicious. However, during my last visit, the food was either undercooked or burnt. I was extremely disappointed with how our meal turned out. I would suggest avoiding Papa John's until they can improve their quality. I can't believe I spent nearly $70 on burnt food.

I thought the pizza was good, but I'm not a demanding eater. However, my husband ordered a meatball sandwich that only had about 5 small meatballs in it, maybe one bite each.

Unfortunately, when we called, we were met with laughter and offered a credit of $1.70 for the missing sauces. We had no choice but to eat our food without the sauces we had wanted. The manager also offered to bring the extra sauces later in the evening, after our food had gone cold, and refused to remake our order. The main issue here is the disrespectful behavior of the manager and staff, who treated us poorly and made it clear that there was nothing more they could do for us. If this is how they treat customers, I can only imagine what goes on behind the scenes in the kitchen. This place really needs to improve its hiring practices and ensure that there is a more responsible person on every shift.
