All Star Grill - Haines City

Good food,great service

The restaurant's website needs to be updated. I drove all the way there only to discover that they had closed 2 hours earlier.

I ordered takeout over the phone from a restaurant in Lake Alfred, which was 15 minutes away. The waitress took my order and requested my credit card information, which seemed unusual to me. I had never been asked for that before when I used to visit this place years ago. Nonetheless, I gave her my credit card thinking she was charging me. When I arrived at the restaurant, my food was not ready and I had to wait for 20 minutes. The same waitress then asked for my credit card again to charge me. The wings were fresh but lacked seasoning and flavor. Both the garlic and barbeque wings had very little sauce on them. Overall, I had a disappointing experience and would prefer to go to Zaxbys instead.

This restaurant is not worth a single star. The food used to be excellent, but now half of the items on the online menu are no longer available. I used to love their dishes, especially the hurricane chicken and potato skins, which were amazing. However, we were disappointed with every entree we tried this time. The Shepard's pie seemed frozen, the buns on the burgers were dry and cold, and the kids' plates were terrible. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

My family used to go to All Star Grill years ago and I didn't really like it then. Went there a few months ago and it's somehow gotten even worse. I really don't recommend it. Try Davenport Ale House a few miles up the road (at Posner Park) instead!
