Chilley Farm Shop - Hailsham

This is a fantastic spot to visit during a bike tour. The banana cake was outstanding, and there were plenty of other delicious treats to choose from!

The Scotch eggs at Saucen were amazing, as always. The staff is always friendly, which is a plus. I also noticed that they now have a price list for the fruits and vegetables—something my previous visits lacked. However, there are still no prices displayed at the butcher counter, which I find disappointing. It’s not just about the affordability; it’s the embarrassing feeling that comes from being surrounded by customers who clearly don’t worry about pricing. I can afford to buy something, and even enjoy a tasty treat, but the situation often leaves me feeling self-conscious. Overall, it’s a lovely place to visit, especially on a sunny day, where you can sit outside with a drink.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The Scotch egg was impressively large and delicious, featuring amazing sausage meat and perfectly soft-boiled eggs. The sausage rolls were also delightful. The café has an open and airy atmosphere, complemented by a wood stove, which makes it feel safe and comfortable during these times. Highly recommended!

Beautiful staff along with some beautiful local products. the breakfasts here are one of the best fresh cooked to order and also very delicious. worth a visit.

Stayed on Saturday, and wow Angie did fantastic the images say it all. very accommodating nothing was to much trouble. the attention to detail was superb. I can't thank her enough, 10/10 service. already booked for next year
