I read a lot about this place in websites, with all the good reviews, I decided to give it a try. I'm a huge fan of burgers to start! Which means I only get satisfied by the perfect harmony of a burger, the meat, topping, sauce and the bun. We ordered well done cheese burgers with jalapeño mustard and gherkin. The burger came oozing with red liquid, I thought it was ketchup! Then I said maybe the tomatos. But nooo, as soon as I pressed the bun the whole thing had blood over it! I STRICTLY eat my meat well done all the time. So we told her that we asked for well done burgers, she apologised and they made us new burgers. The good: They use a charcoal grill which is rare in burger places....read more
Bukowski Grill is found in Shoreditch and Brixton offering up charcoal grilled burgers! New to London, we are discovering where to find somewhere that offers originality and a product thats great value for money. We came across box park in Shoreditch, where all the eateries and stalls are in shipping containers. We actually chose to eat here because the smell coming from the kitchen was just alluring. The menu isn’t long, which tbh is a good thing because it means what they produce should be made really well with little faults. Because I only eat free-range chicken I went with the chicken burger, as I found its rare to find free-range chicken on the places I have visited so far in...read more
Oh what a joy to behold a restaurant that makes an effort to put more in the veggie burgers than cheese and lettuce. 'The Vegetarian ' burger was a real treat to have after work, and even though it 's worth £6.50 with no sides, it 's well worth the go anyway. It 's right next door to Shoreditch High Street station with lovely staff and even the unique wooden cutlery is cute. This a perfect place to grab a bite. Just make sure to get there before or after rush hour to get a table inside to shelter you from the cold!
If you want a real beast of a burger with some mouth-watering chips, then Bukowski is the place to go! Located in the cool and buzzing area of Shoreditch, Bukowski fits in perfectly. Dimmed lighting, wooden booths and beautiful art gives the restaurant real character. I ordered 'The Fat Gringo ' and it was towering and delicious. The triple cooked chips taste like heaven: they are finished in Beef dripping, which is a huge win for meat eaters as it compliments the burgers so well! The home-made condiments are also the perfect accompaniment to your meal. Bukowski truly serve up the type of food that makes you let out an 'Mmmm ' at every bite! The food and service are both so charming...read more
