Excellent waffles and coffee. Friendly and comfortable.

Unfriendly place! Had a terrible experience. I bought a coffee and a croissant to takeaway. On my way out, my 3-months old baby started to cry and I had to sit outside and give him some food and had a sip of coffee. A few minutes later, an old grumpy lady was yelling at me. She said I shouldn't be sitting there as I ordered takeaway. I entered and said I would pay for the difference if needed but she was just saying rude things in Dutch (which I understood). There were plenty of empty tables.

Great food, great service, one of the cutest places in Haarlem for sure. This also has a bakery so make sure to take some of the goodies with you!

Friendly proprietor. Good chocolate croissant. Very poor quality coffee… almost undrinkable.

I bought a muffin here. The muffin was cheap in price but delicious. The shopkeeper was helpful.
