While looking for vegan food in Ha Giang, I came across a review on HappyCow and hoped that the restaurant was open. I was delighted to find that it was, and the owner was lovely and knowledgeable about vegan cuisine. The menu only had two options, but the lady made two delicious rice pancakes with a generous amount of salad and enough rice papers for you to make your own spring rolls. All of this for just 25k? Amazing.

I ordered a delicious Banh Xeo for 30,000 VND at the restaurant, which came with sprouts instead of meat. The server was happy to hear that I enjoyed the meal and said she would appreciate a positive review. She even gave me extra cucumber and pickled vegetables when I requested them.
