The Eagles Inn - Gwynedd

Really friendly atmosphere with plenty of parking. A couple of vegan/vegetarian options on the menu which are clearly labelled. Note that while a lot of the drinks are vegan, they are not marked as such. I tried the sweet butternut and chickpea burger and while everything was fresh, some of the butternut was undercooked. Make sure you check the menu before you visit as there's not much vegan/vege choice.

Amazing vegan food considering location in Wales. Lovely staff and food. Great combination of vegan food and Welsh culture, eventhough these can be hard to mix.

We had dinner for two nights in this place and both times we found ourselves very well, friendly staff and great local food. We ate exquisite lamb ribs, Hamburger

After driving for 3 hours and not finding any appealing meal options in Bala, we decided to drive to the other side of the lake to see if we could find something better. Luckily, we stumbled upon Yr Eagles and it was a fantastic discovery! We arrived just before the restaurant opened at 5:00 pm, but we were welcomed in and seated at a table. We enjoyed some drinks and then ordered our meals. I had an amazing gammon steak while my wife had the lasagne, which she proclaimed was very tasty. The restaurant quickly filled up with other customers, showing that it is a popular spot. Everything about our experience at Yr Eagles was excellent, and I would definitely make the effort to return in the future.

Only open Wed to Sun for food but well worth the wait freshly cooked to order, piping hot and tasty
