Contribuiți la feedbackAwesome place to get a meal, starting of with the chips and sampler sauces, the Habanero is the best. We had a mix of items of the menu, all were great.. Taste Of Mexico, Filet, Ribeye Beef Stew and a the finish off with scoops of Deuce de leche Ice cream. The Bar created the best Dirty Margarita. We hope the our servers feel better, very dedicated people. Will definitely stop by again if visiting Guymon..
What a surprise--we were road-tripping through Oklahoma, a vegetarian and a vegan, and were SO thrilled we wandered into this place after having a tough time finding accommodating restaurants on the road. The menu was labeled to accommodate dietary restrictions (thank you! . The guacamole was made tableside and was so good, so were the chips and salsas, which were accompanied by the story behind the restaurant's name. Our server was friendly, funny, and relayed this story without a hint of pretension, genuinely excited to be sharing it with us. She was delighted that we were so happy with the meal, and seemed to really take pride in the restaurant and the food. The rice bowls were incredible. Do not miss the garlic coconut rice or the pickled papaya. If you find yourself in this part of Oklahoma, I highly recommend you stop by. 5 stars all around!
Went to Guymon for our quarterly trip to our favorite Asian restaurant...unfortunately it was closed. Not having our 2 hr trip be in vain, I looked on YELP for a backup lunch spot. Galleon showed #1 with many reviews so we thought this many people couldn't get it wrong. Well, they were right! This Mexican, Philipino, Spanish restaurant is a hidden gem! Nicely decorated the waiter was super!! Thank you again Colton (from Houston). My sister ordered the Nopal (cactus) salad the Ceviche. She said it was fantastic! Never had a salad like this EVER!! My other sister I had a chile relleno an enchilada. Fantastic!! The relleno was exactly how it should be...egg battered. It came with black beans, rice a salad. I rate my Mexican food mainly on 2 things. Their hot sauce rice. Both were spot on!! They start you out with what looked like homemade corn chips with 4 different salsas. One from Mexico, one from Spain, and one from the Philippines. 4th was a vinegar with Philippine peppers. HOT!! Oh, did I mention the desserts?!? Churros with different type sauces and a Tres Leches cake. DIVINE! Yes, this restaurant lends to using ALL your positive adjectives. Please go there if you're in Guymon. You won't be disappointed.
An Oasis in the desert. Wow, what a find. If you are in the Guymon area this is definitely a place worth stopping at. The food was fresh and the staff were very friendly and helpful on ordering. I come to the panhandle every once in a while and this will be another Go To place that I will continue to visit and tell others about.
My wife and I ate here while out exploring the OK panhandle... first time either of us had been to Guymon. The Galleon came up as highly rated here on yelp, and as being vegetarian friendly with a selection of gluten free menu items. We called ahead to find that they would be closing between 2 and 5 (it was 1 P.M. and we were an hour away), and we would be arriving right about 2 P.M. Ashley, the young lady who answered the phone, was very accommodating, took our order for chili rellanos, and even stayed open for us and let us dine in even though this is usually her off time/their closed hours... now that's premium customer service! And the food was excellent and reasonably priced. We'll remember this rare gem on our future treks through Guymon.
