Stables Cafe - Guthrie

I always love visiting this restaurant! The spaghetti was fantastic. Our server was very friendly and took excellent care of us. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch her name, but it was her first day, and she did an amazing job!

I returned and ordered the #4 Cheeseburger with fries for lunch. It was excellent! There were plenty of fries and a generous-sized charbroiled burger. I really enjoyed it. The waitress was very friendly, too.

We hadn't visited this restaurant in a long time, but not much had changed. There was a bit of a wait for seating initially, as the staff seemed busy, but once we were seated, the service was quite good. My burger was massive and packed with flavor, and I had completely forgotten how much I adore their onion strings! My husband's rib basket was so substantial that he had plenty left over to take home. The only downside was that the ribs were quite charred on the outside; if you prefer your ribs less crispy, these might not be for you. Just a reminder, you'll need to pay at the register by the door rather than at your table. Overall, you’ll be glad you gave it a try!

Really enjoyed the appetizer (potato skins with brisket) but had to wait for app plates and napkins. Salad was decent but basic. Ribs and coleslaw were good, beans ok. Waitress was good about keeping our drinks filled

This place gets away with the fact that it?s always been here. The food was meh. The service was pretty terrible. They weren?t very busy so that?s not the reason for bad service. The waitress literally plopped my plate on the table and walked away. Nowords, nothing. She came back a little later and said she would bring the rest in a minute. Several minutes later she broughtthe rest. Didn?t check on me after that. When it was time to pay, she came with a machine, put it on the table and said thisis how you?ll pay. Then walked away.
