Papa Johns Pizza - Guthrie

I was away for a year and recently visited family while relocating. Unfortunately, during two separate pizza deliveries, the pizzas arrived squished to one side. After the second incident, I called to complain, and the person on the phone asked if a credit would be acceptable. The next day, when we tried to place another order, we couldn't find the number, so I called again. This time, they claimed that my girlfriend was "jumping up and down trying to catch a spider," which was completely untrue. She didn't do that, and the delivery driver didn't even hand her the pizza when she went to take a photo of the spider. It felt like they blamed my wife for their mistake and refused to rectify the situation. If she really was "jumping up and down with the pizza," why was there no sauce or grease on the top of the box?

Not Only did they not honor my Bluejay card but when I've ordered 10+ times before there has no problem with it. So instead I order online only for them to call me right back to tell me they no longer have a driver. Lost my business for sure. That's some pretty childish games for a place of business. Funny they never said they couldn't deliver when I called the store like always because of the blue Jay card. Smh

This used to be my favorite pizza place in Guthrie, but it's consistently disappointing now. During the last three times we've ordered, the cheese hasn’t even covered the entire pizza. I tried to be understanding for the first two times, but I'm done. I won't pay $30 for such a poorly made, half-hearted pizza.

If you're in Guthrie, I recommend going with Domino's. When I called, the guy on the phone heard my street name and interrupted to say I lived in Oklahoma City, which isn't true. This street runs all the way through the state. I'm just 8 minutes down the road and was trying to place an order for a few hundred dollars worth of pizza for a party that evening. I repeatedly mentioned that I was in Guthrie, OK, along with the zip code, but the guy refused to process my order. He jumped to the wrong conclusion about my location before I could even finish speaking. I ended up hanging up and ordering from Domino's instead. The customer service was terrible—maybe they need a translator.

This was our first time getting from here and all I can say is it'd well worth the drive to come here to get pizzas we live a hour away an when we got home the pizzas were amazing still hot and fresh and the staff are beyond sweet and polite we will be coming there again .
