Sushibar. Se

I really like this restaurant in Gustavsberg! The food is tasty, the staff is nice and helpful. Sushi is very good and I love the gyoza!

Sushi is good, Miso is tasty, wasabi is strong and service is fast. I buy take away from here several times each month.

I usually would go for Myabi at Lidingö (which does have some rather good Sushi they can keep the delivery time also) but this time I thought I would try Sushibar.se. Why not go for something new! My wife ordered from Sushibar.se at Lidingö a couple of weeks ago and I remember that she had to wait quite a while for the food. This time a called the restaurant (which is located at Lidingö but not listed separately at Tripadvisor, this place is a subsidiary of the one in Gustavsberg) and the lady said that it would take up to 30 minutes and I said, ok I will still go ahead with my order. I took the car and arrived basically exactly at the time she said the food would be ready. I paid the food and she said that it would be ready in a minute, well I do not know how she counts minutes but I summarized the waiting time to an extra 20 minutes. I mean, out of a Friday evening waiting in some boring restaurant is not my favourite occupation. All in all from order to food in my hand it took an astonishing 50 minutes (30 min announced waiting time and 20 minutes additional). To me this is not good service at all I mean, the pressure is probably higher on certain week days but that is not an excuse to put an extra 67% waiting time. Here is certainly room for improvement and if this does not get better this restuarant will have two customers less. Now to the food itself: this was not a culinary experience of any kind but maybe you cannot expect it either. The rice was a bit chewy and it fell a part before you got to have the soya on it I am not used to this kind of rice. I would prefer if it it was kept together a bit better and maybe just a bit softer. Otherwise the fish was perfect so if they could get the rice in order I would probably give the food a higher rating but not today. Maybe another thing would be the presentation of the food in the box, could be just a bit better. The service: When I called the lady responded can you please wait and I said of course. She took two or three customers while I had to wait on the phone well, I have certainly nothing better to do on a Friday evening (ironic). It took a bit too long time for me but I kept calm and after a while she politely asked me what I would like to order. She was very kind so nothing wrong here but I think I begin to see a red thread she is just to optimistic with time and maybe she thinks that it it is not nice to announce a long waiting time guess what, nothing on this planet makes me more irritated than when I have to wait when there is a time announced. Three recommendations for the restaurant owners: 1. Get the rice in order 2. Please announce the correct waiting time 3. If customers have to wait for too long compensate them in any way (extra sushi, discount be creative).

This is a spot which I have frequented for some time when in the Stockholm area.They have some basic 10-piece, 12-piece and other less expensive selections. They also make some Negamaki and Teriyaki dishes. However, my personal favorite is the Dragon Roll. It is delicious and quite filling. The mere fact that I have been going there for a long time speaks volumes. There are other options and I have not taken advantage of them. The place is satisfying and the staff friendly. The only conceivable downside is that the view is of the parking lot. But you can always walk off a few calories and see the harbor after lunch or dinner. Enjoy.

We, a group of four, made a random stop here after some shopping in both Ittalla and Orrefors Outlet, and before heding to Yasuragi Day Spa. We ordered both sushi and nudle dishes, really good taste on them all. No downsides anywhere. Recommend this place to everyone hungry and in the area. Friendly staff and not lot's of noise.
