La Barra Ostioneria - GUSTAVO A. MADERO

La Barra is one tough place to find. It is located next to the Televisa studios on Periferico Sur. If you are a fan of Televisa Novellas or if you want to rub elbows with famous TV stars as you dine, this is the place to be.More importantly, if you are a big fan of fresh and well prepared seafood, this is definitely the place to eat. It was a pleasant surprise to find La Barra. The seafood is delicious. The service impeccable. The décor (walls covered with autographs and drawings from TV stars) is interesting. The parking kinda stinks.I am still surprised at how fresh the seafood was. Ask for an order of the oyster cocktail. Its an oyster in the half shell topped with a shrimp, some green salsa and a thin slice of avocado. My mouth waters thinking about it. Yep, La Barra is a great restaurant.
