Shellona Beach - Gustavia

This restaurant is located by the beach, offering a beautiful setting with open air seating. Formerly known as Do Brazil, it recently reopened with new owners and higher prices. The cost is excessively high, even by St. Barth's standards for expensive restaurants. Be prepared to be seated closely to other patrons, as the restaurant has expanded and can get crowded. Our lunch here was the most expensive meal we had during our visit.

Shellona Beach is currently undergoing renovations following Hurricane Irma. It is unclear when they will reopen for business, so it is recommended to check their status beforehand. Despite being able to make a reservation through Open Table, it was disappointing to arrive and find the restaurant closed for construction.

A trip to St. Barth isn't complete without lunch doing lunch at least once at Shellona. It's a must do.

We love the spot and the staff but...once again I must say the food is generally disappointing . Often out of items, small portion for the price( had the tuna tartare was tasty but pitiful presentation) the salads that I saw also did not look impressive. Fir the price and location the food should be MUCH better. I realize people will come regardless because it’s Shell beach but it would be great to have delicious well presented food as well!!

We absolutely adore Shell Beach in Shellonia! The food and music by DJ were exceptional. We indulged in caviar, truffle burrata, and lobster pasta, and they were all incredible. They really nailed it! #SUNDAYFUNSTBARTHS.
