Mario's Pizza Pasta - Gunnison

This was the best meal my husband and I had on our trip. It was a hidden gem in the middle of the mountains of Colorado. We had the baked mozzarella their sauce was perfect! And we had a Mario's Combo pizza. We loved every bite! The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant giving off a 70's pizza parlor vibe. Old country music played in the background. It was the perfect stop!

Mom wanted to eat here as this was her first place she ate at when she went to Western and last time was in 1969 and wanted me to experience Mario's as well. I looked online before, as I can't have anything with gluten and saw there was gluten-free crust. This wasn't the case and don't know when they will ever have a supply of gluten-free crust. If anyone has gluten allergy, go to Gunnison Pizza Company. Update your website and mark out on your menus that gluten-free is no longer available. Great place and good people. Food was probably good, but never known by gluten-free people.

One of my favorite restaurants around the world! Half a half analate is so dangful and lunch is perfection. Try the avalanche pizza (probably not on the menu) if you prefer pizza without red sauce.

As a truck driver it is sometimes difficult to find places that are ready to deliver to the truck instead of having to drop my trailer, not only that they deliver it was amazing and fresh. The pizza was hot and the pasta salad was delicious. Thanks for those places. Thank you.

Our party of 9 with 5 young teenagers ate here on the way to a ski weekend in CB. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating for our big group, especially our server Anna, who is a student at WS. The food was delicious and has thrown away our expectations. We all ordered something else and every meal was a hit. Quality ingredients and do not skip them! I'm glad we found this little jewel.
