Gunnedah Services Bowling Club

This restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere, particularly on Friday and Saturday nights, with lively local events. However, the food is quite mediocre and doesn't leave a lasting impression. If you're hoping for some good pork dishes, you might be disappointed, as they seem to cater primarily to club members. Instead, I recommend heading to the Courthouse Hotel across the street for a much better meal and better value for your money.

Can't say atmosphere is great for dinner. Walking upstair to dining area and feeling this place doesn't have any view to look out, no music, windows are all closed and blinds are down.Foods are different from atmosphere. Strong flavour of sauce and gravy, large serving of T bone steak. Chips need to be in hot oil a little more to get crispier.A few choices of special meals are offered on board.

The visitors during happy hour seemed quite unhappy. Additionally, like many other places in NSW, smoking is permitted in the playroom, which is disappointing. I struggle to understand how this is acceptable for the staff who have to work in that environment, as the smell permeates the entire area.

I recommend them for a great meal, cold beer, and pokies. If that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed!

Good food, nice staff. One even came running down the street with an item we left behind.
