Contribuiți la feedbackWhile in Gungahlin with some free time, I came across an advertisement for Young Frisky's happy hour from 4pm to 6pm every day. Intrigued, I decided to stop by for a drink. Unfortunately, when I arrived at 5 o'clock, I was told that there was no happy hour happening. I was disappointed to see false advertising and a lack of follow-through on their promotions. It was a letdown and left a bad impression.
I still give this joint the advantage of the doubt, but it is still average. the live music is very welcome, but they choose to amplify it too loud while the people call to hear each other. Guys, it's a little place. the music will wear. eating really needs work, there is much more competition in the contrary now and the tariff here is served is average. my cheeseburger burger had a lot too much sauce and sniff. huh is crispy, but tasteless. When I go out to eat, I expect to get something I can't do home. sadly everything I've eaten here, I could make myself better. the clock ticks young, get up.
A modern bar with beautiful options to immerse. I trust that this bar is in the possession of hopscotch and they get pretty similar women in a smaller scale. easy access to the parking big w or coles.
We absolutely loved this restaurant! First off, the service was top-notch. I had trouble with the online booking system and sent an email, but one of the employees promptly came over to confirm our reservation for a party of five. The staff was friendly and attentive, which is rare these days. The food was amazing - we ordered the burger, southern fried chicken, peri peri chicken, brisket, and tofu. Everyone enjoyed their meals, especially the flavorful spices on the fries. The atmosphere was cozy and laid-back, with great music playing in the background. Highly recommended!
When Young and Frisky first opened, I couldn't praise it enough for its great food, decent service, and nice layout. However, in the past year or so, it has deteriorated significantly. The chicken, which used to be juicy and fresh, is now dry and oily (yes, I know it's deep fried, but that doesn't mean it has to be greasy). The staff seems more focused on enjoying the unbearably loud 'entertainment' than providing a good customer experience. Young and Frisky seems to have forgotten that they are a restaurant first and foremost. They should go back to focusing on creating a pleasant dining experience where people can eat, enjoy, and converse.
