The Rack House Steak Spirits - Gulfport

Our family of 5 were sat in an area very near the bar (open concept). There was a patron who was talking and cursing very loudly on FaceTime. The manager spoke to her and the woman came over to apologize to us. Our kids ordered steak tacos, ribeye, shrimppasta. My husband and I split the Rack House ribeye. After waiting awhile, we were told that our food had to be remade due to adoor being shut on our server. Our kids? food came out fine, however the Rack House ribeye came out over cooked and cold.Lauren, the manager, immediately made it right by having the kitchen manager remake our meal. We were also offered a discount.Our glasses were refilled by management. I appreciate this restaurant being upfront and responsive.

Before I start my review, I would like to preface that most of my experiences have been mediocre at this place up until today. My experience today started on accident as another place was not open yet. My girlfriend and I decided to have cocktails herebefore we went somewhere else. So we sit at the bar and we meet Jelly Yes, Jelly... That 's all you need to know...Jelly. Jelly starts by asking me, so are we having my signature Old Fashioned. I don 't like salesmen, but I like Bourbon andespecially an Old Fashioned. So I obliged. It came out FANTASTIC! I will not disclose his recipe, but I will say he uses premiumbourbon and the man is knowledgeable and personable. He added tons of personality with a personal touch. After some banter, Ifinished my drink. My girlfriend and I were looking at leaving, until, get this, he offered ME the opportunity to personallybuild my own Old Fashioned. I have yet to have this experience and I have been here multiple times. Jelly is an experience allon his own. Jelly is fun, charismatic, knowledgeable, personable, and entertaining. And in the service industry, where qualitypersonel is hard to fins, this man checks all the boxes. Sometimes it is just best to be, Jelly.

Service by serene was super! the food was delicious! I ordered the speck wrapped scalopps and lamp lamps. I also had the wedge so fresh and tasty. the aromen were from this world. I recommend this place to everyone.

Jonathan was a wonderful waiter bartender. I came to a short trip from hattiesburg. this was recommended by the NFCU staff, and they were in front of location for what I was looking for. this food was fantastic and tasteful. also the drinks from the bar were great. this is a sister company to help shell, but this has beaten every half shell I've ever eaten. tldr: go! 10/10

Our first time in the rack house and we will definitely be back with our friends and family. for the first time we tried lamming, risotto, sawed spinat and heavy fish. my strip was a little hard so our amazing server andrew a juicy, delicate filet instead. the heavy fish was the next stage perfection. everything was amazing. eating, the atmosphere, the staff, the prices are very good for such high quality foods. we recommend this wonderful place very.
