The Royal Oyster - Gulf Shores

What a gem! It's definitely worth the trip for lunch or dinner. The oysters were fantastic, and the fried shrimp and fries were delicious and cooked to perfection. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, and I appreciated their great cocktail recommendations.

Like many restaurants these days, they do have staffing challenges, but the staff that is present is fantastic! If you enjoy oysters and are looking for a relaxed, local vibe, I highly recommend giving this place a visit! Food: 5/5

I honestly didn't want to give even one star—this place deserves a 0/5. I do not recommend it at all! The owner was rude, and I feel really bad for the staff. The beer was warm, and the food was cold. I definitely won't be returning. Food rating: 1/5.

Sorry, no pictures but OMG what a beautiful place this isWe picked up some free furniture over on Bob Bay Drive and this whole area is unbelievably gorgeousI have goals now … Lord willing and the creek don’t rise my goal is for us to own a house or boat or something around this area

Have been wanting to try this place for a while because of the good reviews. Decided to stop in today for a snack and maybe happy hour. Says open from 12-8. Got there and found an empty restaurant with a sign saying they go on break from 4:15-5:00. Very strange.
