Safari Club - Gulf Shores

I cannot brag enough about how wonderful our experience here was! After poor planning on my part, (every restaurant in Gulf Shores had a 2+ hour wait) we came across this Gem! The decor and theme is great for the kiddos, live good music for us to relax to and the food was actually delicious. Our only regret was not finding this place sooner! Our whole trip we had been overpaying and waiting hours for subpar food at the popular spots in town. This place was a nice change of scenery. Not overly crowded and had free parking. This place is a must, we cannot wait to come back!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! We thought we were going to a restaurant/club and were stunned when we pulled up to the ZOO?! Our server was Kris. She welcomed us right in even though we were the last ones in the building. Im a very picky eater and she was so sweet about me customizing my meal and even gave me recommendations that aren?t even on the menu. If you want something here.. ASK AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE. The service and food was so amazing that we came back first thing the next morning for brunch. Their cinnamon rolls will change your life! One of the owners, Amber, learned that one of us in our group was vegan while at dinner. When they closed that night, she went to the store and bought extra vegan options (without knowing if we?d be there for brunch or not) so that if we did come back, our friend would have plenty of options in the morning. That is one of the kindest and most thoughtful things I?ve experienced from a complete stranger. I?m so happy we came back! You can feel the love and passion in the food and in the detail of the restaurant. They truly care about making sure everyone feels included. I wish I could be a regular here! You know it HAS to be good if you go to the zoo twice in 24 hours on a beach vacation! I will definitely be back and I will send anyone who is listening in their direction. They WILL be on food network one day. You heard it here first!! ????

This is not only a great place to grab lunch while visiting the zoo, it's also a nice spot for family dinners and date nights! They have a varied menu and last night they had a wonderful young lady singing and playing guitar. To start, we had the tangy goat cheese with fig jam and the creamy hummus with warm pita bread. I've never seen black hummus but it was great. I recommend both! ???? For our entrées, we had the Ribeye with gouda mashed potatoes and green beans, and the Argentinian steak tacos all so delicious! The tacos had pickled onions that were provided a great crunch. The service was friendly and prompt and the atmosphere is casual and relaxing.

This restaurant deserves every star given and what a surprise. It's date worthy without going to the zoo at all. The smoked tuna is smoked by a local and the restaurant prepares it beautifully-some of THE best I've ever had! The chicken salad and hummus are excellent. Chimichurri steak sandwiches are a bit on the smaller side but wonderfully flavored. Everything was fresh, the service was great, and the food came out quickly. I would definitely go again and again.

We had a wonderful brunch experience at Safari club today. The service and food was absolutely amazing. The two sweet ladies that run the place even came to the table to make sure everything was perfect. We couldn?t have asked for better good and service. However, the place was so hot and sticky. We kept our menus at the table so we could fan ourselves. Several other guest were seen fanning themselves and sweating. This is the second time we have been there and experienced hotter than normal indoor temperatures
