Fresh Market Seafood - Gulf Shores

Shrimp was yummy. Cocktail sauce had a LARGE amount of horseradish. I almost died! Service was not overly friendly.

They have a great selection of fresh and frozen seafood and they’re happy to help you with cooking methods, or they’ll cook it for you right there!

I went to purchase some “fresh shrimp“ or at least what was purported to be fresh. I noticed the shrimp had a strong smell and when I was peeling them I noticed they were very mushy. Anyone familiar with fresh shrimp knows that they do not have a smell and the meat is firm. When shrimp sit on ice for a long time this happens. I specifically asked the worker at the fresh market if they were fresh and I was assured that they were. Two days later I went to Aquilla Seafood in Bon Secour near golf Shores. There was absolutely no comparison to the quality and the price of the items that were purchased. Thank you Aquila Seafood! I do not recommend Fresh Market seafood!!

Great service and excellent selection! Shrimp we got was PERFECTLY steamed for an amazing family friend feast back at our resort during a stormy night. Awesome!

I feel that this place is going downhill sadly. They haven't had trigger fish, cobia, or wahoo the last few visits. During this past trip, we were served by a very unenthused young guy both times we went in.
