Contribuiți la feedbackI love this place. my favorite is garnel and artichoke salad with a side crab meat. I have been under the original lead for many years and the new peculiarity there. it was never disappointed. I recommend this place to everyone.
Simple fresh food--no surprises. If the chef can't get the quality you can't order it.
Satisfying Salad. The Grecian Vineyard Salad was bursting with fruit and flavor. I'm rarely satisified with just a salad for dinner, but with all the chicken and delicious fruits on top of a bed of fresh leafy lettuce, I was completely satisified.I definitely recommend this salad! The rolls and dip they give you when you sit down are delectable, too. Service was friendly, too.
Great food. Very laid back atmosphere. Not what I would expect saying a Greek restaurant. More steak, seafood, pasta. And there are a lot of Greek touches.
Excellent Seafood. This local restaurant has great seafood and Greek dishes just maybe not what some are looking for in Greek food. The lamb chops, pork chops, steaks, seafood and sandwiches are wonderful. With Pensacola being such a seafood based city, you would think we would have an abundance of good seafood restaurants but, sadly that is not the case. Possibly because the restaurants are chains and get their seafood, portion controlled and already seasoned from some inland mfg. company shipping it in from China instead of buying local seafood and supporting our fisherman. Pensacola depends heavily on tourism but the restaurants seem to not care about whether their patrons will return (since they're from out of town anyway) and the service and quality of food reflects this. Aegean Breeze has always relied on locals to support it during the on and off seasons and the quality of their food reflects this. The fried shrimp and oysters are both fantastic, crispy and not greasy, not to mention a sizeable portion and the shrimp are big (two bites per shrimp). The pita sandwiches are fantastic, especially the shrimp and the grilled vegetable pitas (get the mayo on the side). The bread is soft and warm and stuffed with ripe, tasty tomatoes, lettuce, and of course, your choice of gyro, chicken, shrimp, or other fillings. They're usually too fat to eat with your hands without making a mess but, feel free to try, if you dare. I live in Pensacola, have no ties to the owners of this restaurant but, I've got to say whenever a visitor asks me to recommend a good seafood restaurant I tell them to go to Aegean Breeze or just go buy it at Joe Patti's and cook it yourself. Their menu is quite varied and I'm always tempted to try something new when I go but, then again, there's the shrimp and oysters, calling my name. It's a bit pricier than some other restaurants but, you will definitely be getting a better quality seafood just not a lot of choices on how it's prepared. I hope this helps you make a dining decision when visiting our fair city finally making a comeback after oil spills, hurricanes, etc. hang in there P'cola!
