They were also very kind to send all the clothes that we forgot in the closet...wow, what a blessing y'all are!!!!Rooms: Perfect in every detail.. loved the complementary Dove products.Nearby activities: All business no time to check out on this trip..next time.Safety: Absolutely immaculate and I call that safety.Food drinks: Free coffee at the front desk that happens to be phenomenal. The meals are just plain awesome. The ladies work very hard to prepare something different every morning for the buffet..there are always the traditional but they add surprises...love that. The dinner fare is like dining at a 5 star restaurant. Just amazing food for a hotel without a red carpet entrance ?Noteworthy details: What makes this place so unique is that absolutely every single employee we came in contact with from the front desk, Lindsey to each server that we met just absolutely made you feel such a part of their happy family there. They are the most compassionate, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful staff that we've ever met in all our years of traveling through the USA for medical reasons and some times those stays were 3 months long. We certainly had a chance to learn every detail about the hotels we stayed at. Suffice to say we never experienced anything like we did at the Holiday Inn in Guin.

We want to share an extraordinary Holiday Inn experience, and tell about the most loving and compassionate staff that we've ever found at any hotel that we've ever stayed at. First off I want to thank a church called The RAMP, and our realtor Sherry Howell, for recommending this phenomenal hotel. (Y'all were right it's the best) For the last 11 years my husband and I have traveled throughout the USA staying in hotels, and some stays were 3 months long, all due to a lengthy medical history. We can honestly say, that 100% of the staff, at Holiday Inn Guin, treated us with a genuine compassion that you just don't see much of today. It seems that the world we live in is just so busy, and at times cold and detached when it comes to people. NOT HERE. We were welcomed by Lindsey at the front desk, and this precious lady just couldn't do enough for us. Her kind and caring heart is so beautiful, and our long and taxing drive into town, along with anxiety about finding a place to live was just overwhelming, and she knew that! What we're sharing holds true for every one of the beautiful young ladies that we met from the early morning breakfast to the dinner hour. Their kindness, smiles, and compassionate hearts made us feel so welcomed. Our room was immaculate, and everything was perfect. The food was plentiful, so much to pick from and cooked to perfection...I love that they have real scrambled eggs! Unfortunately, my husband wasn't feeling well upon checking out, so when we left the hotel, we accidentally forgot some clothing items in the closet. We didn't even realize it, and while we were en-route home, we received a text message sharing this information. I called and spoke to Lindsey and she gave us the protocol to follow, so all is well, and it's the genuine caring that makes all the difference. A huge thank you to the ENTIRE STAFF, and prayers for God's blessings to all these beautiful ladies in fathomless measure of good health, safety, and joy over flowing. We love Alabama!!! We'll see you soon.

Wonderful stay!! Check in was Wonderful. Room was spacious and the AC was perfect. Room has a mini-fridge and a Keurig. Also free coffee in lobby. We had dinner at the on site restaurant, Grill 22. There is nothing else nearby. Dinner was great!! Definitely a great choice. Thank you to all the staff!!Rooms: 5/5

Such a wonderful stay. It is really not close to anything. Staff was so welcoming and acknowledged my husband's IHG status. Beautiful lobby. Outdoor pool and on site restaurant. Room was spacious and the AC was perfect. The room has a mini fridge and a Keurig. The restaurant was very good. Fully stocked bar. An excellent hotel

Martha and the whole evening Staff friendly and waited on us even 10 minutes before close restaurant. They all from desk clerk to cooks in kitchen was willing to accommodate 3 sleepy travelers. And 1 dog.Beautiful property, I will stay here again.Need to give exit on site or in reservations.I got off at all 4 exits coming south on 22 hwy.That's my 1 and only complaint.
