Pizzaria Celeste - Guimarães

Okay food and friendly service but the floor and seats were dirty. Not expensive, good for the price.

Non-descript from the outside, but when entering you can smell the pizzas. The menu is extensive, and the price is just right with a few meal deals as well. The room itself is a normal cafeteria table setup, a very small amount of staff, but a head waitress that has an eagle eye. She knows who is at which table, and ordered what and controls the whole room. Sometimes it can take a while for the order to be taken, but nothing escapes her and she is working as fast as she can while juggling taking orders, taking payments, setting tables and advising the other staff on which meal goes where, all while wearing a smile no matter the stress. The pizzas are in two sizes, regular or family. Family is enough for three big eaters, or four smaller eaters, while the individual is a good size for one person. There are meal deals that would combine a started (a side of chips) with half a individual pizza to form a more complete meal. The local drink sumol is offered among the normal drinks, as well as beer. The quality of the food, and the size of portions is to a very high standard no matter what you order, and you will not leave unsatisifed.

I already ate here lots of times and always loved it. They take orders and have take away and delivery service. The portions are good and te prices are not bad. I Recommend it.

I was looking for something other than the usual meats, breads or pastries typically found here in Portugal. When I stumbled upon a pizza restaurant I was very thankful. I ordered two slices which were not only put back in the oven to heat up, but we're also topped with fresh ingredients. Although the pizza was not made fresh when I ordered, the way it came out to me tasted as if it were just made. The man making the pizzas who also took my order was very nice. Although I ordered two pizzas he only charged me for one! This hungry backpacker/pilgrim was very grateful for both the generous portions as well as the good nature of this kind gentleman.

Ainda não existia shopping e já íamos a celeste da Gil Vicente buscar pizzas. Mais tarde, há 20 anos, comecei a ir almoçar no intervalo da escola. Hoje, com 40, é com enorme admiração que constato uma consistência ímpar. O espaço está mais bonito, as pizzas já não vem em 1/4 e tem serviço de mesa. A qualidade essa, não mudou, graças ao Deus das pizzas! Fantástico! Claro que a pizza celeste é rainha durante todos estes anos!
