Som Siam Thai - Guilford

The food in Guilford is exceptional! It's always fresh and consistently delicious. We've nearly sampled the entire menu, and everything has been fantastic. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming! We particularly love the crispy duck and wings. Thank you!

I came to the grand re-opening earlier this spring and it was unforgettable. The food is always spectacular and flavourful! Their Branford location boasts equally wonderful staff and food but this location is a bit more intimate (Branford has a larger lounge area). Perfect for a pleasant date or casual dinner! I usually go for veggie/tofu/chicken fare and highly recommend the Pad Thai, Massmun Curry and big bowls of spicy soup! Try the Thai iced tea (boba/bubbles optional)! (Wonderful tea with sweet milk and cream)

I had Thai pad, which was a sticky watt, shining together in a too sweet, inconspicuous paste, which obviously was sitting around since the early Covid. Not back there.

How does this place have no higher reviews? I have eaten in countless Thai restaurants in CT, NY and Thailand. Despite a somewhat limited menu, Som Siam is certainly one of the best Thai restaurants. I'm a big fan of her Peanut Curry. It is shocked full of high-quality vegetables and not too sweet. And the owners are so incredibly friendly.

We just moved here and Som Siam was recommended. This is by far the best Thai food we ever had! We will definitely order again.
