Vines Coffee Shop - Guildford

The coffee was tasty, but unfortunately, I had to wait for at least 20 minutes for it because it was mistakenly given to someone else. I had to talk to a grumpy waiter multiple times before finally receiving my latte. When I brought up my concerns, I was told it was my fault for moving tables, even though I had only done so to accommodate the cafe's request for our running group to be in a specific area. It was disappointing to see others receive their coffee before me, especially since they had ordered after me. I mentioned this politely at the end, but no one was willing to apologize.

This is a fantastic café located in Vineries garden center. I had breakfast here and was impressed with the wide variety of options on the menu. The café is also very clean and the staff are friendly. The prices are excellent value for money. A big bonus for us is that the café is dog-friendly inside. Polly particularly enjoyed the sausage dish.

Overall we were not impressed. Food and drink.at best average and a little overpriced. The service was somewhat impersonal. We found the seating to be a bit uncomfortable

We met friends at the Vineries Garden Centre and decided to stay for a drink. We went to the coffee shop and immediately felt it was more like a canteen. The service was impersonal and the drinks were average albeit a tad overpriced. None of us considered it was a worthwhile experience

I frequent this Garden Centre often and can honestly say that I have never been disappointed with the food or drinks. During my recent lunch visit, there was a wide selection of dishes available such as sandwiches, baguettes, paninis, omelettes, soup, baked potatoes, salads, and hot choices. Despite the small kitchen, the quality of the food is consistently excellent. My husband enjoyed a cheese and tomato omelette with a side salad, while I had a bacon, brie, and cranberry panini with a side salad and crisps, both of which were hot and delicious. The restaurant offers plenty of seating and parking, with the option of outdoor seating as well. Although we noticed a price increase since our last visit, it is understandable due to the rising cost of ingredients. I highly recommend dining here.
