The White-fronted Goose - Guildford

The Goodbye Goose has been replaced by Annare, with a lovely fresh makeover and a very friendly mom and son team. The son served us and apologized for the delay in our coffee, explaining that it had been ready but was sitting on the counter while he attended to walk-ins. Despite this small inconvenience, we enjoyed a delicious, fresh, homemade lasagne and will definitely be returning. However, they serve Illy coffee, which is too strong for my taste, so I will opt for tea next time.

The restaurant formerly known as Goose has been completely revamped by Rita and her son Gianluca, now renamed Annare. They cook all hot food on site, including delicious cakes. Open seven days a week, be sure to support this fantastic new endeavor. Stop by, you won't be disappointed.

A nice cafe in a lovely old shop building with good service but a shame that the food and drink is overpriced for fairly basic fare. £5.95 for avocado on toasted basic sliced bread and £2.50 for a bog standard cup tea.

The staff here are friendly and attentive. The coffee is good. The prices at the deli seem steep but people say it's really good. Worth trying!
