Anaj Indian Takeaway - Guildford

Highly recommended. beautiful presentation, nice taste and friendly service by kitchen staff. we have ordered veg. biryani and sweet sour veggies (dhansak) with rice. I don't think I had this delicious Indian food anywhere in guildford.

It is located in astolat pub, will not see any signs until they see the name written on a chalkboard by a register near a pool table. it threw me away for the first time, so people want to know. they have every Tuesday meal, eating is delicious.

Absolutely fantastic! We came for the curry evening which is held every Tuesday. £12 for a curry, rice or naan and drink (soft drink, wine or beer). It’s amazingly good value for money and we really enjoyed the food. Particular highlights were the lamb saag, lamb vindaloo, chicken bhuna and chicken korma. The soft buttered naans were amazing too and seemed like they had come straight out of a tandoor. Just fantastic! Kapilla who served us is lovely and one of the sweetest, hardworking ladies you’ll ever meet. Thank you to Kapilla and all of the team for a lovely evening, we will be back for sure

Awful curry. Far too much salt. Korma is meant to taste sweet. This curry was awful… by far the worst curry I’ve ever had. Can’t believe I’ve paid nearly £30 for it to be thrown in the bin
