Birehütte - Guggisberg

Once a year this is our excursion destination with our neighbors. The best cheese from our own production is bought here. Of course, we will have a drink, chat and enjoy the great view. It's definitely worth coming up here.

The girls are good people. Their days are busy: the two of them take care of 170 cows, countless goats, a few pigs in the barn and the shepherd dogs, as well as looking after hungry and thirsty mountain guests. The prices are cheap (beer: 3 francs), you should give a hearty tip. Do not pet puppies without asking. Reason: Individuals become shepherd dogs and are in special training

Very nice environment, well suited for short hikes. In the Birehütte there is homemade cheese, wine, coffee, etc. We recommend.
