The Nguyen's - Guelph

My husband and I popped in for a take out lunch after I’d heard some good things about the Vietnamese pancake that they prepare here. We were so pleasantly surprised at the freshness, flavours and quality of the food here. The Vietnamese pancake was delicately...crisp and nutty stuffed with fresh stir fried meat, seafood and veggies served with a nice fresh crisp salad and plenty of nuac cham. We also order a grilled pork Bahn mi which was fresh and delicious! Can’t wait to return!

The first time I had Hu Tiu Nam Vang and Mi Quang at The Nguyen's, I immediately got hooked. The food was authentic and you can tell they really care about the quality. The noodle was homemade. The toppings and broth were both on point....On my most recent visit, I also tried their banh mi which felt and tasted like it was fresh out of the oven. Every bite is complemented with this delicious sauce that I'm still craving when writing this. I live far away but the hot bowl of mi Quang and the fluffy banh mi make the long drive so worthwhile. Highly recommended!

Felt comfortable enough to finally order a restaurant meal and thouight I would try a local family restaurant. I have been here several times for dine-in in the past year or so and I thought it was finally getting good. I ordered take out last...Wed May 13th. I ordered at 1pm and was told 20 minutes. I got there at 115 and the food bag was sitting on a table in the (closed) dining room. I paid and left. I got no utensils or condiments in the bag so had to scramble at work to find some forks. I ordered Vermicelli with bbq pork and a spring roll. The pork was very bland. The vegetables were soggy and not very fresh at all. The spring roll was very soggy. VERY DISAPPOINTING! Bill was almost $30 for 2 barely edible lunches. I doubt I will return. Not like they were busy or anything!

Went for lunch with my daughter on a weekday. Ordered the bbq pork vermicelli bowl with shrimp and spring roll and spicy soup, with a bbq pork sub for lunch the next day. All were delicious, the sub was spectacular. Will be back again

I have not been disappointed at Nguyen's. The portions are large, food is fresh and delicious. It is my go to for pho and pad thai.
