Golden Fish & Chips - Guelph

(Take-out; 1 pc haddock and chips) Very enjoyable taste and texture, good portion. Would consider eating there again, if I am pass that way again.Parking: Strip mall with usual parking.

Our waitress was very friendly and service was great. Fish was excellent, my fries could have been cooked a little longer.

The cod was good, good batter, a nice sized piece. The fries were barely warm, under or over cooked. No cole slaw. The prices are surprisingly high. Nearly $24 for halibut.

Yesterday, my wife and I took a friend to this restaurant one of our favourites near our residence. And all three of us immediately agreed that no other place offers such quality fish and chips in our city. This is easily the best fish and chips place for miles around. The food and service have always been consistently excellent. And we always leave with a smile, and feeling greatly satisfied.Hector and Margaret Osorio Lavender.
