My friends and I visited a café near Pichola Lake for breakfast. We ordered hot chocolate, cappuccino, and a chili cheese sandwich. The food was delicious and nutritious. The staff was very friendly and even made us a special Maggi noodles dish without us having to ask. I recommend stopping by this café for a quick bite.

We came here on a weekday with 4 of my friends. I wanted a cold, icy mixed coffee and my other friends wanted a fruit shake. all our decisions were not available. Even some of the food choices we have not made available, we had. our orders to change many times! Anyway, the food we had was good. I just hope what should be available on the menu for customers

Everything in this restaurant was delicious! From the chips that came with the calamari to the sili (chili) cake, the food was well prepared, tasted heavenly and well priced. We enjoyed the calamari which came with their own chips and two types of dips; pork...BBQ ribs which we ordered only because there was zero fish available but turned out to be melt-in-your-mouth delicious; pinakbet with bagnet with a uniquely flavored sauce and super tender but crunchy bagnet; roasted chicken cooked in local herbs and leaves that will make your eyes pop; and sili labuyo cake that had the chili seeds in the creamy frozen cake--your decision if you want to chew and get the full bomb of Bicol hotness in your mouth, or set these aside and simply enjoy the light sting at the end of each cold bite. Too bad they didn't have any fish. That seems to be the norm nowadays in this seaside region--no fish or hardly any seafood. Sign of the times! Needs improvement: customer service. When I left the restaurant, the memory they left me was indeed something extremely saddening. Do not come into a restaurant wearing slippers and/or simple t-shirt and shorts. To make it simple, please look extravagant or the least presentable We actually (me my boyfriend)...just hurried to go there when we were talking about it at home because we've heard a lot of good comments. We got used of going out wearing comfy clothing. Most of the time, we look like jerks because I am fond of wearing kikay clothing but he was the type of guy who goes out wearing just slippers and a plain white shirt paired with either shorts or pants. We're not the typical matchy matchy couple and we don't actually wear to impress. The staff/server (wearing white shirt) neither greeted us/ welcomed us nor offered to have a table unlike how he would welcome the other guests (as how we observed throughout the stay). So, we welcomed ourselves HAHA. We came up to him instead and asked if we can use the available table inside (there was one at that time) or if there is any available table outside. It seemed that he didn't want to accomodate us, he just hurriedly said there was none outside and we can use the free table inside. I was already upset of the behavior of the certain staff. What makes it worse, the table beside us (all of them rather) were looking at us (especially my boyfriend's slippers) as if we can't pay the bill. Because most of them were wearing pantalons and formal clothings, some even wearing make up. Next thing is, the electricity was cut off. Great! To our dismay, my boyfriend decided to go home instead. He felt so uneasy. But, I said Hindi. Kakain tayo dito. Nandito na rin lang tayo, umuulan pa din sa labas eh The guy from the bar came up to us, said he can't take orders for the moment due to black out. I said we can wait up. He seemed more helpful though. The rude staff kept on going around to the other table helping them out, but to us he didn't even bother to offer water while waiting. Instead I went up to the bar man, I told him if maybe we can order halu-halo instead since that is originally why we came there because my boyfriend loves halu-halo. He said yes, and so we waited. It took almost an hour for the black out. So it means, also took us almost an hour waiting for us to be able to order. But, the food was extremely delicious and worth the wait. We ordered calamares and we were surprised of the serving for a very affordable price. He also ordered ribs for dinner. I can't say anything bad about it. Kudos to the kitchen team! And kudos also to the guy (server/staff) wearing yellow who was quite shy but extremely polite and helpful. They helped me give a 3-star rating rather than a 1-star. I hope that staff will be trained on how to equally treat his guests because people don't just come in a resto judge the food but rather most important is how you treat us. God bless!
