Pizzeria La Vittoria

We were introduced to this restaurant by Americans who have relocated to Guardia. They guaranteed the meal would not disappoint and it did not. Some of the best pizza, house wine and salad I have ever enjoyed. A must stop on a visit to Guardia.

Pizzeria La Vittoria is an out of the way place in Guardia Sanframondi. You'll find it by going down a little driveway beside the building on the right. It is quite large inside, and the menu is varied and delicious not just pizza, of course. We had the appetizer on a plank (I don't recall what it was called) before our meal. It had different cheeses, meats, olives and a few other tasty morsels while we waited for our main course, which was also delicious and well worth the wait. Of course, one must always have wine with one's meals in Italy, and so we did. The local bottle was great, and of course you must try it. When in Guuardia Sanframondi... you know the rest! Enjoy! You will enjoy!

We have eaten at La Vittoria many times and have enjoyed everything. The pizza is the best we've ever had! There are so many to choose from and you can ask Alphonso to make you any special requests you may have for a custom pizza. The menu is varied with some great pasta choices and fresh seafood selections-grilled or braised. Look for the specials; one night a special of steak was just superb-perfectly cooked; tender and flavorful.It is always a fun time and you will always feel welcome!
