La Maison Sunset - Guardalavaca

We we ate there one evening. Typical Cuban independent restaurant. The restaurant is on a bluff with a nice view of the ocean. Food was okay but pricey.

Wanted to go to El Ancla (amazing restaurant) just down the road but it was closed and got stuck here. Service was very poor, was told I couldn’t pay in CUC. However the table next us paid in CUC. The prices are double the prices of El Ancla and the food is no where near as good and fresh. Save your money and time. They jack up the prices once they know ur Canadian. The best lobster enchilado I've had in the Guardalavaca area. Stunning views and tranquility. Casual and pleasant service.
