Chinese dishes but more modern: less oil and more sweet! there were small pieces of fake meat in some of the dishes, but the dishes were mainly plant origins. the menu is only in Chinese, you can see photos of the dishes on wechat. the friendly owner spoke English and helped us to make a choice. we ordered about 10 dishes for 5 people and it came to 400 yuan. the restaurant was vegan, but we asked if a dish can contain yogurt.
I must say that I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant recommended by my colleague. The menu offered a variety of natural and satisfying dishes. I will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to the city. The Chat Menu features dishes inspired by Buddhist teachings and using organic ingredients sourced from around the world. I had my final meal in Guangzhou at this restaurant recommended by my colleagues. It is a cozy place with a menu that features dishes made with natural ingredients. The food we ordered was satisfying and I plan to visit again on my next trip to Guangzhou. For more information, contact the restaurant at 020-29880336.
I found the vegan options in Guangzhou to be disappointing. From what I could see, there were only Chinese restaurants with limited vegan options, some Indian restaurants with vegan dishes, and underwhelming western places. Although this Chinese spot seemed to be the most promising, the food was just okay and the prices were higher than anticipated. The restaurant itself was modern and pleasant, but the mall it was located in was outdated and not very inviting. I likely won't be returning and will continue my search for a better vegan option in Guangzhou.
Tonight, I went to this restaurant with four non-vegetarian friends and we all loved the food! The Chinese dishes had a modern twist: less oily and more vegetable-based. Some dishes had small pieces of imitation meat, but most were plant-based. The menu was only in Chinese, but you can view pictures of dishes on WeChat. The owner, who was very friendly, spoke English and helped us choose our dishes. We ordered about 10 dishes for five people and the total came to 400 yuan. The restaurant is advertised as vegan, but we were able to check if a dish could contain yogurt.
