Solid D+ experience. View was astonishing, until we watched one of the employees sweeping the stairs down to the dock and instead of collecting all the debris in a dustpan she just swept everything into the lake, wrappers, tin foil, napkins and all. Ordered of water and tequila drink. bottle of water and tequila drinks arrived. Tried to send the extra back, but wait staff insisted that we ordered and had to pay for it. Okay, maybe a misunderstanding. Fish platter showed up that we ordered for if you want deeply fried food this is for you, some was almost good while some inedible. Finally the bill arrived. Except there were bill's. A hand written bill on top, with the actual printed bill paperclipped underneath that was actually pesos less than the hand written bill. When asked about this the waiter said the top bill was the suggested price with tip vs the actual price. Wow, bad food, poor environmental practices, and attempted robbery quite the trifecta.

Ordered Chabela Margarita, poco lemon. When it arrived it was bright green all lime and very little tequila. Sent it back and ordered a beer. Still got charged for the margarita. Next ordered arrachera . Medium rare it arrived raw. Sent it back. When it...finally arrived very tough rice and fries cold. Loud music. Bad service. My advice stay away. I Give it a zero

This was sad, we had been in the Ajijic area for weeks and eaten many different places and had fantastic food. For our last night I picked this restaurant. Boy was I ever sorry for that decision. It is pandemic time, this restaurant seated...us at a dirty table with dirty dishes on it. We ordered a seafood platter, when it arrived we both looked at it in wonderment. All the food on it was fried to the point that you couldnt even tell what it was. So disappointing. Even more disappointing was the attitude of the waiter, when he came over to check how everything was my husband told him, this is the worst meal we have ever had in Mexico. The waiter said oh terrific yeah so we asked for the bill, it arrived with a charge for a drink which we tried to dispute with this same waiter, for a drink with one shot of tequilla?. Then he also tried to add a gratuity which is illegal. Needless to say, ask us for a recommendation, we had nothing but excellent dinners in the Ajijic area except for this place. Do not waste your time or money. We are not used to that kind of treatment either, all of our encounters with restaurant staff in the Ajijic area has been awesome, except for this place.

Messed up order. They blamed it on me not speaking English but I pointed to what I wanted a said it in Spanish. Food was decent. Make sure you go on a nice day. It was cool and windy after a rain Nd we were...cold.

Amazing views, good food, plenty of Tequila, live music... even a complimentary boat tour at the end.
