My first day here I witnessed a guest screaming at her. I assumed that the guest was the problem but I have learned that is not the case. Michelle sucks!! Even her employees can 't stand her. It is too bad the owner doesn 't speak any English and can 't run the place without help. Edit Since I wrote my review about Mrs. Roberts to inform everyone of how horrible of a person she is, she has since wrote emails to all the local hotels asking them to ban me and my family for 'unacceptable behavior ' she called it! They were kids being too loud in the pool that was next to the witch 's office! The Medallion Inn used to be a nice place to stay. It used to have a bar and a salon and it use to be thriving! Now it 's just washed up and miserable like the manager Michelle Roberts.
The room was spacious, updated, and clean! The front desk staff kindly upgraded our room for free so we could stay in a quiet corner away from rooms with lots of kids thank you!! . Breakfast was delicious and there was a nice variety of foods to choose from. We used the laundry room on the first floor $2 in quarters per wash and per dry cycle . I would definitely stay here again :
I stayed here this weekend and the property is very beautiful, the room was clean and spacious. The amenities are nice, we used the pool and hot tub during our stay. The front desk staff Lema and Justin were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! I will definitely stay here again.
Be aware of this hotel. It at one time was a nice Hotel with nice amenities of which some of the signs are still around from, however, this is not the current situation. The Hotel is in complete shambles. The rooms are terrible. They smell like wet dogs and cigarettes. Lights don't work, furnishings are old and broken, doors don't lock. Even though they put us in what they call a suite, after another room, it was no better and all of their rooms they call suites. The location is very close to the freeway and since there have been no upgrades the windows are single pane and it is very noisy. All said.. just be aware of what you are getting when staying here.
When we first arrived the lady working the front desk was amazing (the only reason they are getting 2 stars). She offered to open the pool after hours if my 2 young kids wanted to swim longer. With that being said, the fire alarm went off at 215 and continued for about 45min off and on. We were told but the gentleman working the overnight shift that there was nothing he could do. There was a contractor there working and he needed to be done his job by 8am. He was extremely rude to everyone there. The fire department came in and silenced the alarm (if a fire occurred, no one would know but at least we could all get some sleep). However just after 4am the alarm went off again. When we went out to see what was going on the man seemed very aggravated and angry. We went back to our rooms and locked the door as we felt extremely uncomfortable being there with him. We were showed no compassion, no compensation, nothing. Our kids were extremely upset and still talk about it. I would not stay here ever again. Amazing customer service from the manager when we first arrived but the rest of the night was a very upsetting experience for all.
