Tomatoes Apizza (14 Mile Rd)

Been coming here for almost 20 years and it 's consistently some of the best pizza in the SE Michigan area. The New Haven style pizza is as good as it gets. Extremely consistent food and service and their lunch buffet is one of the best deals around. I can 't recommend this place highly enough. Everyone I 've ever brought here was impressed and couldn 't wait to go back.

This place is billed as a classic Neapolitan pizzeria on a par with the great new haven and nyc pies. I lived in nyc area for 15 years before moving to Michigan, and unfortunately my experience here fell far short of those places. I’ve tried them several times and the Birmingham location is not good. 14 mile is better but still just okay pizza. Above average for Michigan but nothing like frank and pepes Lombardi,s or any of the other innumerable great pizza spots in nyc,like totonnos in Brooklyn, or L&b spumoni gardens around the corner. Gotta give this place props for trying and I’m sure you can get a solid pie from here if you catch them on a good night.

One of the rare pizzerias that's a bit transportative in that it gives you the sense that you're visiting some place special, well established, and oh yeah they serve amazing brick oven pizza and feature a fine salad bar. PREGO!

Service, food all good. Crab pizza was really good. Also got a pepperoni pizza Aldo very good.

A-mazing. I go here every other week or so, and it never disappoints. Everyone is so kind as well- just the kind of environment you want a restaurant! As soon as I ate my first slice of pizza, there were no more competitors. This pizza is simply the best.
