Sho Gun Japanese - gton Beach

While visiting my family here, we have had the other two sushi places before and finally tried this one and man, it was SO GOOD! The sushi was so fresh and tasty. The service was great, it felt we were very welcomed and the server was so helpful with the choices. Good music and the chef was dancing while rolling sushi and it was just a fun experience. There were some regulars, that's how I know the place is amazing and gives you that family vibe. Also, it was getting packed. We are absolutely coming back here!!

We enjoyed the sushi. The owners are very friendly and make you feel like you're part of their family.

All the other one star reviews are accurate to my experience as well. We had ordered to go a few times during the pandemic. Food was ok. However, last time we went into order because we could not get through on the phone. The extremely rude lady there literally shooed my husband out saying, “no to go orders, you leave now!” With hand gestures and all! We had also previously eaten in the restaurant and had horrible service, same as others have posted.

The food is ok but there is an extremely rude woman working there that will completely ruin the experience! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere!

This shot spot is small u0026 intimate but also full of life u0026 energy. The chef makes delicious rolls while jamming out to fun tunes of his choosing. The Trust Me u0026 Jeff rolls were my favorite. I will definitely be a new regular here!
