If you eat here, the garlic soup is an absolute must! We've been regular customers here for years and the food never fails to impress. The service is very friendly and the food is just great. Anyone looking for a good pub in Grünhain should definitely not miss the Alte Klosterschmiede!!

Rustic accommodation, clean, simply furnished rooms, mattresses quite soft, but of course it also depends on personal preferences. The rooms facing the street are unfortunately a bit noisy in the morning with the window open, but a nice view over the town makes up for it. The innkeepers are friendly and accommodating, breakfast is simple and delicious. The food in the restaurant was home-style and exactly to our liking. We'd love to come back. Very bad inn, when I ate there, I found hair and things 3-4x in my food that I still couldn't identify the staff was very disrespectful, not recommended Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1
