Contribuiți la feedbackParker's has become one of my favorite bars. They always have excellent service and cheap prices. They have free food during Ohio State games and discounted beer. They don't have a good selection of craft beer but it's surrounded by bars that do. Parkers is always a good time, I strongly recommend checking it out.
Thought this would be a great place to go but really we haven 't enjoyed it at all and we have been here twice now. They have a $10 minimum if you use a credit card which nowadays not many people like to carry cash on them so that was a red flag right there. I ordered a Captain coke first time for $4 and the second time she 's like "I 'll just make it a double so it 'll be easier to make it $10. Okay...I asked if I could just get one more regular drink instead and include my tip in the tab and she said nope! So I ordered a double and my tab for two drinks all of a sudden came to $13.00. I should have not even left her a tip because she was NOT friendly at all. The drinks were still watered down anyways by the way. Needless to say we will not be back.
First off they had a good and much more friendly bartender who was nice enough that I can tell you she went by J. I haven't seen her in a long time. The bartender that works on Mondays (I don't know her name but u will know her by the tattoos and unfriendly demeanor. She is not just unfriendly but confrontational and rude, but this is my side of the story that follows and u can take it on my word it is true. 2 weeks ago we went here on a Monday night a guy was sitting at the bar watching hockey he seemed a bit weird but my guy carried on a conversation with him for a bit. I played juke box noticed it got turned way down...,,I mean highly noticeable volume drop. My guy asked her if she turned it down a she rudely said she hadn't touched it and h e said it sure sounded like it. She made another rude comment laughed and walked away and in a flash weird guy jumps up and runs over and punches my guy so I just can't even fathom why unless he was her boyfriend because my guy wasn't rude or nasty she was and as patrons we have a right to ask why when we put money in your jukebox box you turn it way down. The owner came outside with us and apologized telling us he had issues with that guy before and he hoped we would still come back. Well we did and rude bartender was there and as soon as we walked in she yells my guy asking him if he's going to accuse her of stealing! !!!!!? People I mean to tell you she's nuts or I missed something cuz I was there the whole time and not once did I here him accuse her of stealing. Anytime i've been there there are only a couple people in now I suspect it has a lot to do with the service. The reason I liked the place was because of the light crowd and jukebox otherwise the service at planks, or memories is much better and they both have really good food too and take credit and have more then one beer on tap seriously take better care of your customers. Never going back and you should consider a better place as well.
Zach isn't wrong. Nice and clean. But the crowd. The 60 year singing out loud to every Barry White and Marvin Gaye song was a special touch.
I 've never written a review on here, but I figured now is a good time to start. My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to eat yesterday, and instead of going in your typical chain restaurant, we try to find local restaurants. We were driving around, saw the sign and thought we 'd give it a shot. I 've never drank a beer and got out of a bar so fast in my life, and that 's saying something! There was a pool table set up and a few people at the bar (an older crowd celebrating a birthday, but the overall atmosphere of the bar wasn 't all that appealing. It looks old and worn. We thought okay, we won 't judge this book by the cover. We asked about their beer, and they only have Bud Light on tap and a few domestic bottles. Being a craft beer fan, I wasn 't too excited about the choices, but went with a good 'ol Budweiser. We also asked for a menu...the only thing they had were a few snacky type 'appetizers ' cheese sticks and such. The birthday crowd had a hot dog stand set up with coleslaw and a giant brownie, which were offered to us. It was super nice of them to offer, but also rather...strange. AFTER we ordered our beer we were told that it is cash only (they do know it 's 2015, right? Despite my mother 's warnings to always carry cash, I rarely do. Luckily we had the $5 cash between the two of us. We listened to Phil Collins that was playing over the speakers as we drank our beers and got the heck out. Before we ordered, my boyfriend honestly just wanted to run out the door when no one was looking. But I have this guilty conscience thing going on, and I would have felt super mean just turning around and leaving, which is the only reason we stayed for that one beer. I 'm honestly not sure how they stay in business, even with regulars supporting it. I for one, will never go back.
