Promberger Hof Hofcafé Am Stern

On my bike tour along some Upper Bavarian lakes (Ammerse,Starnbergersee,Staffelse,Riegsee,Kochelsee...) I almost stumbled over the Promberger Hof with its beautiful Hofcafe. What should turn out was not my disadvantage. In an idyllic location, on a small hill, in the middle of the picturesque ambience of the Upper Bavarian pre-Alpine country, not far from Kochel, Walchensee is the café. The Hofcafe is part of the beautiful Promberger Hof with geese, pigs, cows, hair....here families with children also feel very comfortable, there is a natural pond. The main room of the café consists mainly of bright wood furniture, outside there is a beautiful sun terrace. Guided by very nice staff in Dirndeln ice cups, strands, cakes,Vesper dishes,kitchen,window... Here I enjoyed a very tasty pears quark cake with coffee and all this with a free view of the alpine heart, what would you want more? As the sun gradually lowered and the country in the evening mood, I also understood why one calls this not so well-known part of the pre-alpine country the Blue Land and here many famous painters settled or stayed for painting. If I had no accommodation in the neighboring city, I would have liked to stay in this Naturidyll, sometimes rooms with accommodation at low cost are offered. Maybe there's a goodbye we both served the Prombeger Hof and me.

Very beautiful. I was there to the coffee. extra large pieces of cakes to moderate trips. a recommendation from me.Take a walk and enjoy the view and the delicious cake.
