Einstein Bros. Bagels - GROSSE POINTE

While there are a few hard workers, there the cashier/barista could barely stay awake and could have tried to make it seem like he was paying attention, cared or wanted to be there in the slightest.Regular tipping customer who waited 25 minutes for them to NEVER make my coffee and my sandwich to get cold. The whole time i was waiting, one coffee was made and a line of 15 people also trying to get on with their morning. I ended up just walked out unserved and extremely disappointed with the service. If I go back I’ll be tipping in after the service has been rendered or go to a different location.

Absolutely love the breakfast bagel sandwich, with Avacado/egg whites/a spread/ I request sausage instead of bacon. You pick the bagel you want the sandwich on! So good! I go off and on to Einstein bagels, but been back every other day since I tried that sandwich!!AND their protein bagel is so good when I’m in a rush!I just wish they had longer hours!

The manager behind the counter is rude and has no idea how to deal with customers or run a restaurant for that matter. I usually ask for black pepper for my nova loxs. They usually don't have it by the counter with the condiments. No big deal. I Just ask for some from the employee behind the counter and they are usually accommodating. Except this morning where the manager was rude and dismissive. She directed me to the counter with the condiments. I checked and found none came back asked again. She replied with a nasty attitude i told you its over there. I told her its not. She came to make sure i was truthful. Then she huffed and puffed. Then she said we don't have any black pepper. While she was standing right in front of a pepper shaker! I asked for some she was being challenging and confrontational. I honestly never heard of a restaurant without black pepper.
