Lucy's Tavern On The Hill

Pub? This charming establishment on The Hill in Grosse Pointe Farms is far more than a typical pub. Casual? Sure, I can agree with that—it's Grosse Pointe, after all. However, calling it just a sandwich and beer joint doesn't do it justice. I recently returned from a week in Martha's Vineyard, where I spent a significant amount on some of the finest cuisine the island has to offer. I can confidently say that the menu at Lucy's Taverne On The Hill is more varied, the presentation is more creative, the waitstaff is just as attentive, the wine selection is impressive, and most importantly, the food is better than what you'll find at the high-end spots in Martha's Vineyard—all at half the price. If I had to pick on something, it would be the flatware, which felt slightly above disposable. Aside from that, I have no complaints—great job!
