Manchu Wok - Grimsby

We stopped at a restaurant on the way to the Toronto airport. The food had no flavor and we made a poor choice. The staff was not attentive. The only positive was that I didn't have to wait long. Now I understand why.

After attending a conference in Niagara, we decided to stop for a quick dinner on our way back home. Wanting to opt for something healthier than fries or pizza, I chose to go with Chinese food.

The bean sprout chow mein was undercooked and had raw vegetables in it. The chicken fried rice was bland and lacked any actual chicken. The beef and vegetable dish was dry and overcooked, and the sesame chicken was tough and tasted old. Lastly, the sweet red sauce was watery and flavorless.

Yes, they stack on a lot of drive or noodles....chicken nany types cut. but radnabe has timmy and wendy Mediterranean food and kfc taco bell..and mr sub and orange julie. as well. good stay on a trip.

I ordered the fried rice. The portion was very large. It was like glue and tasted flat and bland. No green onion flavour, little garlic. I also ordered some little pieces of chicken meat in some dark brown sauce which was very sweet. i was...not impressed. I was there for a late lunch.
