Restaurant visit Good, solid food, higher but justifiable prices. Portions a little too big. Good service, tasty and relaxed food. What more do you want?
Wir hatten beide über das Internet ein Doppelzimmer mit Frühstück für 99 Euro im Grevesmühlener Hotel am See gebucht und standen nachmittags an der Rezeption, natürlich nicht ohne die obligatorische NaMuMa korrekt über die festgelegte Gesichtspartie gezogen zu haben. Am Tresen standen zwei junge Frauen, die ihre aktuellen Tätigkeiten einstellten und jetzt waren wir die Nr.1. Somit war jetzt unsere Zeit und wir teilten unsere auf Erfüllung hoffende Wünsche mit. Daraufhin wurde uns ein Datenblatt mit einer freundlichen Korrektheitsüberprüfungsbitte übergeben. Es stimmte alles und die Unterschrift meiner Frau bestätigte das. Nach dem Weg zu unserem Zimmer wurde natürlich auch gleich noch der Weg zum Frühstücksraum erklärt. Das Zeitfenster für das Frühstück ist von 7:00 Uhr bis 10:00 Uhr. Kurz vor dem Weggehen gab es noch den Hinweis, dass die Maske bitte nur beim Essen am Tisch abgenommen werden sollte. Der Zimmerschlüssel war eine Plastikkarte mit ein paar Löchern, die Rückseite wurde als "Made in USA" identifiziert. Wir standen vor unserem Zimmer, führten die Karte ein, drückten die Klinke und die Tür öffnete sich. Es zeigte sich ein recht kleines aber zweckmäßig eingerichtetes Zimmer mit einem sehr kleinen Bad. Das Abendessen nahmen wir in der (wohl ehemaligen) "Vielbecker Stuben" ein, dem offensichtlich zum Hotel gehörenden Restaurant mit etwa 50 Sitzplätzen im Innenbereich, 30 Plätzen im Wintergarten oder ein paar im Freien. Die Wände im Gastraum waren mit Kunstwerken geschmückt, die zum Verkauf standen. Mein Interesse hielt sich dabei in Grenzen, anzusehen ja, kaufen nein. Unsere Kellnerin war super nett und sehr aufmerksam. Sie stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Die Speisekarte war zweisprachig und bot 4 Gerichte BIBENDI Spezial, 5 Vorspeisen, 1 Salat (mit 6 verschiedenen "Zusätzen" wie Thunfisch oder Feta Oliven), 3 kleine Gerichte für den kleinen Hunger, 4 warme Mecklenburgische Küchenvarianten, 2 Fisch- und 2 vegetarische Gerichte. Als Durstlöscher entschieden wir uns für Rostocker Dunkel und das schmeckte uns bereits gut. Nach dem Studium der Speisekarte entschied sich meine Frau für die Deftige Bibendi Pfanne mit jeweils einem Stück Rind, Schwein und Hähnchen, dazu gab es Kaisergemüse, Bratkartoffeln und einen kleinen Salat. Das Fleisch war in Ordnung, nur das Rindfleisch war leider etwas zäh, da es zu lange gekocht war. Die Bratkartoffeln schmeckten handgemacht und sahen auch so aus. Ich entschied mich für den "Strelitzer Rollbraten" mit Semmelknödeln und Rotkohl. Der Rollbraten war super, mit einer Füllung aus Backpflaumen. Die Semmelknödel waren nicht mein Fall. Auch am Essen gab es einen kleinen Kritikpunkt, der Rotkohl schien nicht besonders gut gewürzt zu sein, eher lieblos erwärmt. Auch meine Frau schmeckte weder weitere Gewürze wie Nelke oder Zimt, Zwiebeln, Rohkost oder Apfel, noch Gänsefett, also eher lieb- oder einfallslos abgeschmeckt. Ich bezahlte die Rechnung von 47,60 Euro direkt am Tisch mit der EC-Karte. Beim Verabschieden erzählte uns die Kellnerin, dass es hier schon Kunden gab, die ihre Rechnung auf das Zimmer buchen wollten und am nächsten Tag jeglichen Verzehr bestritten haben, sogar trotz Vorlage des unterschriebenen Belegs des Servicepersonals, was aus meiner Sicht völlig indiskutabel ist. Das WLAN funktionierte im Gastraum des Restaurants problemlos im Gegensatz zu seinem Nicht-Funktionieren in unserem Hotelzimmer, wo es gar nicht nutzbar war. Zum Schluss noch ein paar Worte zum Frühstück im Hotel, das im Zimmerpreis enthalten war. Pünktlich um 8:00 Uhr gingen wir zum Frühstück. Am Eingang war alles gut organisiert, mit NaMuMa und Händedesinfektion. Das Frühstück ließ bei uns keine Wünsche offen. Es gab frisches helles und dunkles Brot, Kaffee, Tee, Saft und Milch, mindestens 6 Käsesorten, 8 Wurst- und Schinkensorten, frisches Obst und Gemüse, gekochte und gerührte Eier, Minibuletten, Bacon und Nürnberger, portionierten Joghurt, Quark, Schmelzkäse, Marmelade, Honig, Schokocreme und Butter. Die kleinen Mängel hindern mich jedoch nicht daran, trotzdem großzügig 5 Sterne zu vergeben. Beachten Sie, dass die Bilder nicht im Beitrag enthalten sind, sie sind aber da!

The walls in the guest room were decorated with art for sale. My interest remained within limits, you see, buy neien. Our waitress was super nice and very attentive. She was with us with advice and action. The menu presented is bilingual and offers 4 dishes BIBENDI special, 5 appetizers, 1 salad (with 6 different “additions” such as tuna or feta olives), 3 small hunger food, 4 warm Mecklenburg kitchen options, 2 fish and 2 vegetarian dishes. As a thirst quencher we decided first and very quickly to Rostock's darkness and that tasted good. After studying the menu, my treasure wanted the Deftige Bibendi pan with a piece of beef, pork and chickens, with a small salad. He was refined with shepherd cheese and some spits. The meat was good, only the beef was unfortunately not so good, it was too long in the heat and therefore very difficult to chew. The roast potatoes tasted like handmade, they also looked like that. For me, the cook swirled on a “Strelitzer Rollbraten” with semmelknödeln and red cabbage. The arch was great, with plum filling. The Semmelknödel confirmed they were just not my thing. Even when eating there was a little criticism, the red cabbage supplement didn't seem really good to me, only heated without love. My wife also tasted neither other spices such as cloves or cinnamon, onion, raw chestnuts or also apple, nor geese fat so sweet or even infallible. I paid the 47.60 Euro directly at the table with EC card. At the time of departure, the waitress told us that there were already customers who wanted to book their bill on the rooms and the next day contested the consumption in any form, even in spite of the presentation of the signed document of the service personnel, not only from my point of view completely unthinkable behavior. Wi-Fi worked here in the guest room of the restaurant and without any problems, unlike its non-operating in our hotel room, because it was not even usable. Finally, there are some words for breakfast at the hotel, which was included in the price of the room. At 8:00 we went to breakfast. At the inlet everything was organized that included “Inlet Control” NaMuMa and hand disinfection. Breakfast left no wishes. There were fresh light and dark rolls and bread, coffee, tea, juice and milk, at least 6 cheeses, 8 x sausages and ham, ready-to-use fruits and vegetables, cooked and “stirred eggs, mini-buffs, bacon and Nuremberger, portioned yogurt, quark and hot cheese, portioned jam, honey, chocolate cream and butter. The small defects do not prevent me from distributing 5 stars here anyway. By the way, the pictures are not in the mail, but there!
