This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure won't be let down.Hotel was pretty nice, we came here to visit for my birthday so we were driving back and forth to downtown quite a bit. It was a good proximity from downtown. Definitely not walkable but easy drive. We never used the pool or any restaurant or anything so we pretty much got ready there and slept so it was good for that.

Hotel was nice and clean price was reasonable but the following day I get charged a additional $225. For a smoking fee when no one smoked in the room allegedly the housekeeper didn't take pictures. Upon booking the room the front desk agent didn't go over the hotel policy and procedures and additional charges would never stay here again. And if something was left behind does not mean that I smoke in the room, in order words your cigarettes or cannabis can't be in the your possession while you are staying in there hotel.

5/24/23 to 6/7/23 Holiday Inn Holiday Inn New Orleans West Bank Tower, an IHG Hotel 275 Whitney Ave, Gretna, LA, 70053 I'm here for another business trip in New Orleans I stayed for 2 weeks at Holiday Inn Westbank Tower by Wyndham at Whitney Ave. And It's one of the best stay I've ever had! The house keeping supervisor Michelle is always on top of everything when you need something for your room. My housekeeping lady name Brenda is such a sweet lady that cleans and make my bed everyday and the rest of the staff from front desk and to all the housekeeping. so when I come back from work my room is always clean and ready for me to relax and sleep. It's really a home away from home! The bed is so comfortable! And the entire room is always clean! The location is perfect it's about 10 mins to French Quarter. Definitely I will use this place again on my next workation: 5/5 over all!

The building is older and looking at fine details, it’s obvious. But the decor in the room is updated and comfortable. The halls could use some sprucing up. The lobby is nice but feels a bit cold and empty. The restaurant has breakfast until 9:30 then lunch 11-2pm then dinner after 5. The staff were friendly and the location was convenient to local attractions.

The location was good and the room was what I expected. Being off the freeway the room was noisy along with the pipes making noises and waking us. DO NOT pay for the breakfast. The breakfast had limited options and was luke warm. We both had 2 bites and left.Rooms: 3/5
