Absolutely excellent restaurant. We were here a week ago. Everything is top. The personnel are so friendly, the starters and mains were of superior quality as was the wine from Twann. The prices are OK too. If you have not been here, do go. We will definitely go again

I am very glad that I discovered this restaurant, which is unpretentious but offers very good food. It is located in the tiny village of Lüscherz a mere two minute walk from the Lake of Biel. For those using public transportation, make sure to arrive by bus and get off at Lüscherz, Dorf . Do not arrive by train as the station is really far from the village! The restaurant is quite gemütlich with much wood. Very cozy atmosphere, a few tables with a lot of space between them. Thumbs up for the excellent service, as it was efficient and unobstrusive at the same time. Food was also quite good: fresh fish from the Lake of Biel, simply prepared, and presented without unncessary frills. As starter I chose a fish soup: tasty, well flavoured and revigorating. The main course was Eglifilets Patrizia (perch fillets served with a beurre blanc sauce): the fish was fresh and the sauce was really to die for. As dessert do not miss the excellent homemade Baileys ice cream with mandarin espuma. Obviously the high quality reflects in the rather high price level. My full three course meal including soda water, wine and coffee cost me nearly CHF100. But the lunch was really enjoyable I will definitely come back again.
