Contribuiți la feedbackI had an amazing experience dining at this restaurant with excellent authentic Honduran cuisine. The menu offers a variety of fish dishes, delicious soups, tasty tacos, sopes, and tortas. They also have a selection of cold beers. The English language skills of the staff may be limited, but they make an effort to accommodate non-Spanish speakers. Overall, a great spot for enjoying traditional Honduran flavors.
I sampled various dishes on the menu and they were all excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The salsa was especially delicious.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, there were hardly any seats available at the restaurant. I waited for 10 minutes before someone acknowledged my presence. I ended up ordering three chicken tacos with corn tortillas, topped with tweezers and cilantro. The tacos were small, but the texture was uneven and clumpy.
The food is good, but I think it’s pretty sad when you call to place an order for pick up and the person says no English and then hangs up on you. If you’re in the United States you should speak English. Our laws are in English, our road signs are in English, this is an English speaking country. I wouldn’t move to Germany and expect everyone to cater to my language of choice because I’m too lazy to learn German. I’m not saying they shouldn’t be allowed to speak another language, it’s just impossible to lived in a civilized country when the people who come here don’t assimilate. Absolutely do not recommend on this basis alone.
If you are looking for authentic Mexican or Honduran food in the upstate this is it! This is not a fancy restaurant, but the food is fantastic. Honestly the best sweet plantains I have ever eaten. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
