Sisters - Greenwood

My husband and I LOVE this restaurant. The food is delicious. The restaurant is always very clean. The service has never been a problem for us. We have gone about half a dozen times now, and they never disappoint. We just ask 이모님 what we should order. She never steers us wrong, and she even helps us with our bad Korean. We love the family atmosphere, and the entire staff is always very welcoming and kind to the two of us. We are so appreciative of their food and the generous portions. We were there yesterday and had stir fried squid and pork belly and the beef rib hot pot. Yummy!! 진짜 맛있어요!

I see so many reviews on the waitress lady being rude to POC or non Asian customer. I’m telling you they are the same with Asian customers? My first time to this restaurant was on my bday which I went with a lot of friends including POCs. She was nice and friendly to us bc I spoke korean when I’m not Korean and the service was good. Which was the reason why I went there again with my two friends, where the same waitress lady seemed like she was a different person despite remembering me from last time. She acted so cold and unwelcoming which even my friends noticed. The food was underwhelming compared to the first time. One of my friends didn’t like her service which led to her no tipping (me and other friend tipped above 18% . And that made the waitress lady mad then she started giving us lecture about how we should always tip at least 15% bc this is America ?Go to Cafe Korea in Fisher!

I always love trying foods from different cultures and Korean food has always been some of my favorite! Sisters makes absolutely incredible food that is so filling! When I order from here, they usually give so much that I’m able to make multiple meals out of it. Even when you try to reheat it the next day, everything tastes just as amazing as when you first get it! I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s probably my new favorite restaurant in Greenwood! ?

Hate to be a downer, but our final Sisters experience while living in Indy was quite a disappointment. We’ve dined in several times and have always returned for the great food and generous portions. Tonight, we decided to get carry out. For what you pay for each dish, the portions have become extremely small. I even went back into the restaurant after leaving with my food to make sure they gave us the correct soup order, about half of the container was full. When I asked the waitress, she confirmed that it was the dinner portion. I’ve purchased the same soup while dining in and have taken home MORE leftover than what was given me today as a full order. For $15, that is truly absurd. I want to continue to support small, family-owned businesses, but I do also expect the quality and quantity of the food to reflect the cost.
