Winter Inn Food And Spirits

We absolutely adore The Winter Inn. As expected, it was quite busy on Mother’s Day, but we definitely left feeling satisfied. The staff was helpful, attentive, and very friendly.

I was really disappointed with the buffet. There wasn’t much variety, the food was quite bland, and it was definitely overpriced for what was offered. I was hoping for a delicious meal for Easter, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. On a positive note, our service was excellent, which was a nice touch.

We visited the Winter Inn for the second time thanks to a Groupon, which they gladly accepted. It's such a charming, old-fashioned place. The fireplace was lit in our section of the dining area, creating a lovely atmosphere. The dining area is distinct from the lively bar, which adds to the experience. The service was exceptional! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. They also served excellent bread to start the meal.

Our Margaritas where flat. Not much flavor or zing. Food was wonderful.

I can't recommend this historical hotel highly enough! If you're a fan of experiencing history, this place is a must-visit. From the moment you walk through the entrance, you'll feel transported back to 1902. If you enjoy immersing yourself in the past and want to escape the craziness of modern life, spend some time here. Savor a lovely dinner, visit the pub for an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan, then head up to your room to soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a restful night’s sleep, just like countless others before you.
